The Irish Setter Club of Canada (ISCC) publishes a list of breeders that are members solely as a courtesy benefit of membership.
The ISCC expects members to adhere to the health testing required as set out in the Principles of Integrity, but has no means to enforce that requirement.
The ISCC, therefore, cannot offer a warranty nor a guarantee that the parents of the puppies listed on this page have been tested for any health conditions, diseases or conditions that may affect the health of any puppy purchased from a member of the club.
Do your research, ask questions. Make sure the breeder offers a contract which states under what conditions a refund will be given. Make sure the breeder has health tested their dogs, and bred them at an appropriate age.
